Again Me and Sushree lost with the beauty of Chilka Lake

Chilika – Barkul Trip After Unlock

It was Month of Oct, Corona trend was still running  , people were afraid to move out as compared to today .

Many Tourism destinations were not opened for tourists so all the locations were clean & attractive !!

While doing a Documentary shoot we got a chance to visit Chilika – Barkul.

I had visited chilika before but … But what ?

But , this time It felt like it’s not chilika, it’s Bahamas or a destination from Carribbean country. Blue water , clean weather , sun rays were creating an amazing glitter like view, fresh air, pleasant weather and no crowd at all , what do you want more ?

So me and my mate Sushree, were traveling on a boat between the blue waters , while enjoying the views !! I remembered that poem –

Utakala kamala bilasa dirghika, marala malini nilambu Chilika …..

We saw Chadhei Haga island, fisher man in Wooden boats catching fish , and yes The most attractive part was Kalijai island !! That day I saw how people and unaware crowd put impact on a Tourism destination !! Had visited Kalijai before but I not felt good due to garbage etc all around but that day no one was there and it was clean & Beautiful 😍 I imagined maa Kalijai Beautifully smiling after Watching her place in it’s prime condition .

At the end of the day we realized…

How irresponsible Tourists are affecting a place and its Beauty in a large scale !! Due to improper management and guidance these places are losing it’s unmatched Beauty with time due to irresponsible tourists .

So be a responsible tourist and Take care of the places you are visiting.  Treat them as your home .
